Mapleton-Fall Creek residents met recently to discuss a shared vision for the designs and functions of the three parks that the MFCDC will be building due to the successful acquisition of land to develop in the 2900 block of Park Ave; the 3000 block of Ruckle St; and the 3100 block of New Jersey. Kevin Osburn of Rindell Ernstberger, the landscape architecture firm that designed the Indy Cultural Trail, attended.

These parks, while not in the Historic Meridian Park neighborhood, will be open and welcome to all residents in the MFC neighborhood. There are so few residents in the park areas right now (50% vacant), neighbors from all around will be needed to plan and support these parks.
