The Farmer’s Market at North United Methodist Church’s parking lot at 3808 N. Meridian Street is open each Thursday  through October 29 and features entertainment and 26 vendors, everything from hot foods to “take and bake.” The purpose is to provide fresh, healthy foods to those who need it but cannot access it. The mission reaches out to the immediate community and impacts the lives of hundreds of children by providing fresh vegetables, produce, and other Indiana-raised products. Nearly 30% of the vendor sales at the market are represented by WIC vouchers.
