On a beautiful Sunday afternoon in October 2015, HMP held its annual Fall Festival including its chili and cornbread cookoff.
The good news is that the Pocket Park Committee has raised enough money and received approval to build the park shelter without a public bathroom.
In September, members of the HMPNA Board and interested neighbors conducted a neighborhood walkthrough with representatives from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) and the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office.
Historic Meridian Park has raised enough money to fund the completion of several remaining pocket park projects.

HMP is fortunate not to experience an inordinate amount of crime, but neighbors need to remain vigilant if we want to keep our neighborhood safe.
No doubt that the Home Tour highlighted just how important the pocket park has become to HMP.
According to the website Holiday Insights, National Doughnut Day is always celebrated the first Friday in June.
