This year’s Fall Festival and New Neighbor Reception was another big success.  Neighbors gathered at the home of Lee Smith and Mark Webb to welcome new neighbors and enjoy homemade chili and cornbread and great music by HMP’s own Mark Herner. Any neighbor that wanted to join the competition was asked to bring their BEST chili and/or corn-bread to compete in this year’s contest. A trusted panel of judges judged the entries and awarded the top prize to Steve Towns for his amazing chili and Jean Richcreek for delicious cornbread. However, HMP residents were also able to judge their favorite and award a “People’s Choice” winner by placing money in specially marked containers the chili and or/or cornbread recipe they enjoyed the most. All proceeds go to HMP for the benefit of the neighborhood. The People’s Choice award winner for cornbread went to Doug Day and the People’s Choice award for chili went to Jimmy Webb. Thanks to everyone who participated and joined in the fun.

Several new neighbors joined us for our annual event. HMP welcomed Emily and Scott McClelland, Wade Johnson & Michael Sean Nichols, Josh and Lauren Logan, and Bryan Bigelow and Mark King
