Dear Neighbors,
Many of you may know that President Elect Obama has asked that we all provide community service to a local organization in support of his Inauguration and also in remembrance of Dr. Martin Luther King. Despite your politics – we all get behind helping out others in need.
To honor his request and MLK Day – I am coordinating a donation drive for “The Villages” – a community leader in foster care and adoption services. The drive will end this Sunday night at 9:00 pm and the supplies will be donated to The Villages on Monday (MLK Day). The Villages has provided me a “wish list” below. If you are interested in donating (why not do some spring cleaning early this weekend!) – please bring your donations to my home at 3060 N. Delaware St. If we are not home – feel free to leave them on the porch. Thank you in advance for your generosity and helping children and families in need!
