The HMPNA Board decided that 2021 was not a good year to host the Progressive Dinner that thanks and honors the neighbors who have supported the neighborhood through financial contributions. It is the hope that it will be possible in some form in 2022 or that another appropriate activity will occur that honors and thanks neighbor that financially support the neighborhood.
However, the holidays would not be the same if nothing was done. So the Board came up with a new idea that could possibly be added to the annual events, the Christmas Carol Crawl. It was a mashup of Christmas caroling and the St. Patrick’s Day Porch Crawl. Carolers wore their favorite cold weather gear, warmed up their vocal cords, gathered at the park and began caroling throughout the neighborhood. Other neighbors dusted off their porches and provided a welcoming place for the carolers to grab a hot drink or eat a snack before journeying to the next home. Luminaries guided the carolers throughout the neighborhood to each participating home.
