The Children’s Museum Guild’s 4th Annual Black Hat Dash is Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 10:00 AM. The 1 mile and 5K Family Fun Run and Walk courses are almost entirely within Historic Meridian Park.
There is a lot HMP neighbors can do to be a part of the festivities:
- Participate! Dress up and run or walk the 5K or 1-mile course. HMP neighbors get a special discounted rate of $10 per person ages 5 and up. Register at https://www.childrensmuseum.org/black-hat-dash and enter promo code NGHBR. There will be prizes for best costumes and most creatively decorated strollers. Rach Black Hat Dash entry comes with a ticket to the Children’s Museum Haunted House!
- Decorate! Decorate your yard or house for a chance to win great prizes. Judges will be looking for creativity and Halloween appeal. Send an email to dashneighbors@gmail.com by October 25th with your name, address and phone number to enter.
- Cheer! Neighbors are invited to watch and cheer the costumed runners as they run through Historic Meridian Park.
