Did You Know?

Historic Meridian Park was one of the first “commuter” suburbs developed right after the Fall Creek Bridge made it possible for downtown executives to live here, on the far northern edge of Indianapolis.  The neighborhood was developed with commuting in mind, and most properties included garages.  Numerous executives from Indianapolis’ car manufacturers, including the Marmon Automobile Company, lived right here in the neighborhood.
