Please remember to donate your tax-deductible neighborhood association dues for 2023. Dues are used to pay for insurance and park upkeep. They support the committee assignments such as flowers for the common spaces and supplies for social events.
The HMPNA board depends on voluntary annual dues to continue hosting events and caring for the HMP neighborhood. One new initiative planned for 2023 is a “pay it forward” opportunity. Recognizing and respecting that not every household is able to contribute dues each year, the board plans on facilitating an opportunity for HMP residents to contribute on behalf of another (unnamed/anonymous) household. The goal is to have over 50% of the households as contributing or sponsored members by the end of the year.
Dues may be paid via at https://www.historicmeridianpark.org/for-residents/dues/ or contact the Treasurer at hmpdues@gmail.com and he will get back to you to arrange a payment. Suggested donation levels are:
- Craftsman: $25
- Colonial Mission: $50
- Tudor Revival: $100
- American Foursquare: $200
Custom membership amounts are also accepted.
In 2021, HMPNA gained its non-profit status. This means that donations to the pocket park maintenance fund and to the neighborhood association are tax deductible. The park donations help pay insurance, supplies to keep the park looking good, and form maintenance workers. Neighborhood dues pay for social events, roundabout maintenance, alley cleanups, and other infrastructure needs that may arise. Give generously and volunteer for park and neighborhood cleanup days when available.
