The weather was perfect for Historic Meridian Park’s neighborhood-wide yard sale on June 27. HMP advertised the event, provided maps, and placed balloons in the yards of participating neighbors so visitors could easily find the sales.

There were 17 households participating in the event while the Lomax, Rubin/Naremore, and Vavul children sold lemonade and other treats to thirsty customers.

Besides being an opportunity for residents to clean out their garages, basements, and attics— and make some money — it was also an ideal event to showcase the neighborhood to those outside of HMP. For many residents it was also a social opportunity as many neighbors visited and bought items from one another.

HMP extends it sincerest appreciation to everyone who helped to make the event a success and to those who donated proceeds to the association!
