The new year evokes a sense of change and opportunity in most people. They see it as a time for analysis, refocusing, and setting new goals. The promise of tomorrow always lay one day ahead. And so with change comes new opportunities and new visions. That change includes HMPNA Board leadership. Ryan Noel served on the board for 5 years, the last 3 years as President. Under his leadership the neighborhood saw many positive changes. During his tenure, the HMPNA has had its highest number of members. Ryan forged ahead with the neighborhood watch initiative by working to qualify three neighborhood blocks. Neighborhood social events remain as popular as ever. Ryan states that one of the most rewarding legacies of his leadership is that when he walks through the neighborhood, he knows so many of his neighbors by their first name.
Guiding the HMPNA into the new decade will be the newly elected board President Dustin Jones. He will begin his term with one main goal: that the neighborhood is more strategic in how the social events are planned with the goal of targeting broader and more inclusive neighbor participation.
