Fall is fast approaching and the HMPNA Board is busy planning the social events to take us into the new year. First up is the fall favorite chili and cornbread competition. This competition manages to bring out even the passive of cooks. Dust off those tightly held, top secret family cornbread and chili recipes and see if you can’t take home the coveted golden ladle and golden fork.
Make sure your dues are paid so that you can participate in the Progressive Dinner. This neighborhood favorite is a special way to say thank you to the neighbors that have supported the neighborhood with their dues. Check the list on the right and see if you are listed. It’s not too late to pay your 2019 and 2020 dues at the same time. Plus, neighbors that pay their dues are also helping to cover insurance and taxes for the Pocket Park in addition to funding our amazing event schedule and ensuring the neighborhood has supplies for clean-up events. Details for paying dues are available at https://www.historicmeridianpark.org/for-residents/dues/.
