Now let’s get to work on a plan that will put the park in Historic Meridian Park!
By an overwhelming majority vote (30 in favor, 6 dissenting), the HMPNA membership voted in favor of establishing a pocket park within neighborhood boundaries. Thanks to everyone who came out to our community meeting on September 14 to listen to the presentations and be part of the discussion. We also want to thank all the neighbors who shared their opinions, in favor and dissenting, during the neighbor statements portion of the meeting. Access the pocket park presentation. For those of you who could not attend, please note that we did not vote on a specific location or budget. Those decisions will be made in future meetings. We hope the community will be equally engaged in those phases of the project.
