Remember to pay your tax-deductible dues for 2022. Dues are used to pay for insurance and park upkeep. They support the committee assignments such as flowers for the common spaces and supplies for the social events. Dues can be paid via the website at https://www.historicmeridianpark.org/for-residents/dues/ or send an email to hmpdues@gmail.com and a board member will get back to you to arrange a payment.
In 2021, the Historic Meridian Park Neighborhood Association gained its nonprofit status. This means that donations to the pocket park maintenance fund and to the neighborhood association are tax deductible. The park donations help pay insurance, supplies to keep the park looking good, and for workers to perform maintenance. Neighborhood dues pay for social events, roundabout maintenance, alley cleanups, and other infrastructure needs that may arise. Give generously and volunteer for park and neighborhood cleanup days when available.
