The Summer Cookout and Movie Night was a huge success! HMPNA would like to thank Wade Johnson and Stacey Patrick for organizing the event and Christy Krieg who, once again, opened her home and lawn to the neighborhood for a social event. Many neighbors gathered at Christy’s home to share their favorite dish, listen to music by Mark Herner, and eat popcorn while watching The Addams Family movie on the lawn. Dick Luchtman assumed the role of grill master and many more volunteers helped with set up and tear down. Nicey Treats was onsite selling delicious cold treats and the proceeds went back to the neighborhood. HMPNA would like to thank Jeff and Stacey Patrick for their generous donation to the neighborhood.
Stormy and Kimberly Thrasher introduced neighbors to the KIB Adopt-a-Block program and signed volunteers up to be Block Captains. Block Captains assume the responsibility of picking up trash on their block. If we all work together, we will ensure a clean HMP.
